John Arnott
John carries the heart of the Father like no other. Loving kindness exudes from his being. He is a John the Beloved and has a profound aposotolic gifting.
Co-founder of Restore - Catch the Fire Australia, John is fondly known as "Aussie John" in the in Catch The Fire movement.
Starting in 2005, John and Pauline represented Catch The Fire in Australia, initially as Soaking Australia CTF, then Spread The Fire Australia, and eventually as Catch The Fire Australasia as they expanded their ministry into Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands. John also ministered with John Arnott (Toronto) and Duncan Smith in West Papua.
They were instrumental in planting Rowville Baptist Church in 1974 and were leaders there until 1995 when they were radically changed by the power of the Spirit as a result of the Toronto blessing in Melbourne Australia.
They planted Hillview Community Church in 1996 and were Senior Pastors from 2000 to 2009. During 2007 they witnessed and participated in a significant Holy Spirit outpouring which lasted for over a year. They learnt to value the Power and Presence of the Holy Spirit, recognising that everything comes out of His presence. John carries a strong pastoral gifting and the heart of the Father.
Pauline and John visited the Toronto Catch The Fire Church several times, each visit profoundly affecting them with the power of the Father’s Love, which they carried in their ministry.
John has led ILSOMs, Father Heart weekends, and Soaking in His Presence weekends across Australia.
In May 2014 Pauline and John planted Catch The Fire Melbourne, serving as Senior Pastors until their retirement in September 2019.
Pauline Arnott graduated to glory to be with the Father in 2023.
As John continues, he has a deep and abiding passion to share a supernatural life, with the transforming message of the Father’s outrageous love.
John lives by the power of forgiveness, witnessing hearts healed under an open heaven in the power and presence of the Holy Spirit. John loves training and equipping others to carry and live out the reality and power of this message in their lives. They then are empowered to share it with others to bring about personal, regional and national change through radical transformation.
John lives in Melbourne Australia and has two children and five grandchildren.
